About

Dating Sim! Paulina's Precious Autumn (DSPPA) is the second part of a planned trilogy of visual novels (VNs). Like Dating Sim! Luna's Lovely Summer (DSLLS), DSPPA is a commercial VN. Using the knowledge gained from developing DSLLS, I hope to make DSPPA a great VN that is worthwhile to play.

Story

Months after getting rejected by Paulina, the Protagonist finds that he’s already in the fall semester. Summer has gone by quickly and now his final year of college has begun. His grades have improved after taking some summer classes… but not by much. If he’s going to get a good job after graduation, he needs to work his tail off… getting Cs isn’t going to cut it. So he decides to spend his evenings at the school library studying. But with him stressing out so much over graduation, he finds it a struggle to understand most of the material.

As he studies, he sees a familiar face in the distance… is that Paulina? She sure is looking frustrated at whatever she’s studying. He thinks: she could use his help… and maybe she’ll forgive him for what he did months ago and become his girlfriend! He approaches Paulina, but she does not welcome his presence as she scowls at him. Her voice trembles as she calls him “pervert,” almost as if she’s afraid of him.

The Protag freezes, not knowing what to do. “Pervert”? As the Player of this visual novel, how will you guide the Protag in this story about second chances? Maybe he should just forget it, studying takes priority over wasting your time hitting on a girl who’s clearly not interested.

…Or maybe…? For some reason, to the Protag, not only Paulina seems like a familiar face from Dating Sim! Re:Mastered, but rather like an “all-too-familiar” face. Could it be that he’s seen her before, well before the events of the prequel?
